As from this week, the portal ofTelevisió de Catalunya will include the recommended age rating symbol for every contents of the on-request Internet videos oftv3alacarta.

Therefore, the on-line broadcasting of TV3’s Internet programmes will include the same age rating symbol that the viewers are used to seeing on the corner of their TV screens. This symbol is compulsory for television broadcasts although there is still no regulation that obliges the means of communication to use it on the network.

TV3 has decided though to already implement it on tv3alacarta to offer a better service to the thousands of people who every day use Televisió de Catalunya’s Internet contents. These rating symbols have also been included for some time now on the programming pages of the portal tv3.cat and on the section of upcoming broadcasts included in all the programmes’ websites. You can see it on the image attached in yellow, just above the videos’ title.

If you want to have an in-depth view of the elections held the upcoming 22nd of May then you must follow them on the special section prepared by our colleagues of 3cat24.cat. This spring channel 33 and its web site are full of new events. First, "Pop ràpid", a very funny sitcom with music as the protagonist. It is about a couple of friends who form a band and talk about it in a bar that holds concerts of renowned Catalan groups of the “indie” scene.

Besides from being able to see all the episodes on the website (the first, broadcasted tonight at 22:50 on channel 33 has been premiered exclusively first on the website) you can see the musical performances of the groups that appear on the series. If you can’t see the full performance on the series you can enjoy the full song live on the website. There are very interesting groups, from the first, The New Raemon, to others such as El Petit de Cal Eril. The website also has a blog of "Pop ràpid, where the ins and outs of the series are explained.

"Fotografies" is a very interesting programme for all photography enthusiasts. A weekly programme that will be premiered on channel 33 this coming Friday at 21:45 and that every week will approach us to the work of some of the world’s best photographers.

On the website, apart from being able to view the programme again, you will find extensive information of each episode and of the photographers who appear on the programme, with spectacular photographic galleries with some of their best works. Moreover, a contest will start shortly where the spectators can send in their photographs on a specific theme every week to the website. A contest with a prize!

The Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA) links four months running above the amount of two million single users. According to theinformation audited monthly by the OJD, the portals of the Corporació totaled 2.082 million users throughout the month of February, with an increase of 620,000 cybernouts with regard to that twelve months ago, 43% more.

This amount is especially noteworthy taking into consideration that the month of February is the shortest month of the year and this usually implies a decrease of the audiences which this year did not take place. Also outstanding is that Esport3.cat doubled its audience and surpassed 200,000 single users. All the details, on this report.

In 2011, the Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA) is still above two million single users on Internet. According to theimformation audited every month by the OJD, the portals of the Corporació have totaled 2.073 million single users in January, with an increase of half a million single users with regard to the month of January the year before, that is 31%.

They have therefore achieved three months running above the figure of two million and confirm their upward trend with regard to last year’s audiences. You will find more details, in this report.

To celebrate its five years of history, "Polònia" is broadcasting three television specials the 7th , 14th and 21st of February. At the same time the programme’s website will include a section where to choose the best gag of all the season of "Polònia".

At Els millors gags de "Polònia" (The best gags of "Polònia") there is a pre-selection of approximately sixty gags which all the fans of the programme can vote by clicking on the tab "M'agrada" (I like it) on Facebook and they can do so on as many gags as they like.
